In 2005 the Institute also established its support for Optometry Giving Sight.  This global fund-raising campaign was established by ICEE, the World Optometry Foundation, and the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness; to mobilize funds to support the goals of Vision 2020: The Right to Sight, and in particular to help eliminate uncorrected refractive error and help those with permanent low vision.
